Explore Karlin and its gastronomic scene
Karlin has seen more major changes than any other part of Prague, especially in the field of gastronomy. There are many recently opened modern foodie places, popular cafés and cozy wine bars. During our foodie tour in Karlin, we will stop at a farmers shop to show you that great cheese and sausages do not just come from Italy or France, and we will spend some time at our popular bistro tasting several Czech “beer” goodies prepared in a modern way by combination of unusual tastes such as smoked pork with teriyaki sauce, homemade pork jelly and beef tartar with chili mayo. We will also visit a new unique restaurant concept and taste dishes based on Czech old recipes or products that were used by our great grandmothers, now transformed into a very modern gastronomy. We will take a relaxing break over a cup of good coffee with a bite of great cake at one of the best Prague cafés. All food will be washed down with a “golden” drink from Czech brewery and Czech fruit brandy. Our foodie tour will end at an authentic wine bar with a selection of wines from regions that used to be a part of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire.
