Discover hidden gems of Lesser Town!

At the beginning of our Lesser Town Food Tour we will welcome you with a glass of great local wine. Then we will slip into a very popular pub to taste Czech traditional goodies and, of course, Czech beer. You’ll have a chance to sample Czech cheeses in various forms, unique sausage, beef tartar and a traditional meat dish. Later we will let our stomachs digest a bit during a pleasant walk through narrow, medieval streets of Lesser Town, with a couple stops at interesting places and few small bites of sweet pastries and snacks. We will end our walk at popular glamorous café tasting local sweet specialty and traditional herbal liquor.

Lesser Town

Lesser Town (“Malá Strana”) is the historical district of Prague located on the left river bank beneath the Prague Castle. Due to its romantic character, several churches, noble palaces, narrow streets and beautiful parks, the district is overcrowded by tourists in every season. Unfortunately, that highly affects many food places that target especially foreign visitors presenting their overpriced menu, often disregarding the quality of food. That’s why there are just few places where the locals really like going regularly to get good local food. During our Tour, we will take you to these hidden gems and let you taste the best of the local goodies.

Reminder:

The Lesser Town Food Tour starts at 4.00 p.m. and lasts approximately 3 hrs.

The tour runs regardless of the weather. If rain is forecast, do not forget an umbrella or a good raincoat.

The tour includes some walking and the streets of Prague are not exactly friendly to high heels, so please make sure you wear comfortable shoes.
